An interesting large Icon of Saints: In the top row the Deisis flanked by the archangel Michael and St. Peter; on the right the archangel Gabriel and St. Paul; beneath that the Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple, the virgin Orans and Virgin of Vladimir, beneath them, the Prophet Elijah flanked by the Pantelemion and five other Saints in the lower row, seven monks; in the left border Ss. Vlasii, Antipii, Nikita and Dimitrii; in the right border S. Anna, Catherine, Nadierhda and Martha. Russian icon, 19th Century, (45 x 38½ cm).
